Chez Bloom steps to Handle the Effects of COVID-19

Chez Bloom will continue to deliver flowers to residents in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area within our zip code list below. Our retail store is closed. Our drivers will be taking extra precautions upon each delivery. Drivers will wear gloves with each delivery and call and/or text each recipient prior to delivery to verify timing. The driver will place the package at the door and let each recipient know the flowers have arrived. In the case of all other deliveries including apartments, condos and business deliveries, the person(s) will be notified prior to delivery to ensure the business is open and all packages will be left with the front desk or mail room. Please be prepared to have an alternate residential address for any business deliveries due to people now working from home. Please see our zip code list below to verify the delivery can take place.

1. Workplace safety for our employees

*Chez Bloom follows Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommendations, including the following:

*each employee is guided to regularly wash his or her hands throughout their work shift.

*hand sanitizer is available for employees to use regularly

*regularly wiping down all work surface areas and tools in each design space

*regularly wiping down all surfaces that customers may come in contact with

*minimizing physical contact (such as hand shaking)

*each employee is encouraged to take time off if they exhibit symptoms

*Chez Bloom ownership has closed our retail space to customers and only provide flower orders via ecommerce and phone orders. Please call when you have arrived at the store for a pre-ordered flower arrangement..

2. Special Precautions for our Driver(s)

*Drivers will be entering office buildings, hospitals, senior care facilities, apartment complexes, and other unknown locations, where they could come in contact with the virus. Chez Bloom will always ask for the recipients’ contact phone number when taking a floral order. We will take the opportunity to contact each recipient to let them know an approximate time their flowers will be arriving, and as a precaution against the coronavirus, the driver will leave the flowers at the front door/reception/mail room.

3. Helping Wedding and Event Clients Stay Calm

*Planning weddings and events is stressful and more stress is added with hazardous weather, family or organization emergencies, or other disaster (such as COVID-19). The staff at Chez Bloom will do everything we can to keep clients calm and maintaining trust with each client to minimize the impacts of COVID-19 on our business.

*Each client will be given a copy of our plans to keep them and our employees safe. We recognize the legitimate concern for safety and are taking all necessary precautions.

*If any Chez Bloom wedding or event is impacted directly by COVID-19, we will contact you immediately of any changes to the execution of your wedding/event. This could include delivering floral items as a drop off to the door of venue locations instead of a personal handoff.

*Our goal is to ensure we have your trust and each client’s best interest at heart. (We recommend each client look into event insurance if you are concerned the wedding/event may be cancelled)

Minneapolis Event Floral Arrangements & Flower Delivery

Chez Bloom makes every attempt to deliver flowers to business and residential addresses. In the event the recipient is not home we check with a neighbor and let the recipient know the neighbor accepted flowers on their behalf. Unfortunately there are times when the recipient is not home and not reachable via the phone number given on the order to contact them. We will let the sender know of the issue and the flowers will be left at the door. A message will be left on the phone number of the recipient given by the sender that the flowers will be at their door. Chez Bloom cannot be responsible for flowers that are left at a recipient's door due to being away at the time of delivery. It is the responsibility of the sender to find out when the person they are sending flowers to is at the address given for delivery. Sharing a correct address for the recipient is also the responsibility of the sender. Should Chez Bloom deliver flowers to an incorrect address due to incorrect information given by the sender Chez Bloom holds no responsibility for the flowers that were delivered. Dependent on the location and time the recipient is home will determine whether we are able to make multiple attempts to deliver flowers to an individual residence or business. If you are ordering for a funeral service please call to verify timing of the visitation and/or service and we will certainly fulfill the order.

Hours at our retail store are from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (CST) Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (CST) on Saturday. We are closed on all Observed Holidays. Same day deliveries are available when your order is placed by 11:00 AM (CST) Monday through Saturday.

Delivery Area

Chez Bloom offers delivery in the immediate Minneapolis and St. Paul Metropolitan Area. We do not offer delivery outside of the Minneapolis and St. Paul Metropolitan Area. Our Standard delivery fee is $15.95 plus Minnesota Sales Tax. Delivery is available Monday through Saturday. Delivery is only available on certain Holidays. Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM (CST) for same day delivery. The physical delivery of flowers by drivers takes place from 11:00 PM (CST) to 5:00 PM (CST).Special time requests may be available for an increased fee. Please call 612-822-2003 for timed deliveries. The fees of special timed delivery requests are dependent on the driver availability and the location of delivery. We make every attempt to fulfill customer requests.
